A fund was established in 2018 to help Harvey County residents who struggle to pay for their medical expenses by providing assistance for one time medical needs.

How often are funds available?
Monies are available in six month segments (Jan-June, July-Dec.) with $2,000 in funds coming available each time (totaling $4,000 a year) for Harvey County Residents who qualify for one time medical needs.

Who qualifies for Harvey HealthBridge?
A Harvey County resident/or attends an accredited K-12 school in Harvey County. (Harvey County resident is defined as a person who has resided in Harvey County, Kansas for at least 3
Anyone who is identified as in financial need either through Health Ministries, Harvey Co. Health Dept. or Newton Salvation Army.
How does a qualified recipient access the Harvey HealthBridge funds?
A recipient or nurse/social worker/care coordinator for the recipient should call Health Ministries at 283-6103 to set up an appointment with a care coordinator to identify the need. Please bring papers to show income qualifications and any doctor/nurse test results or prescriptions related to the requested need.
